Year-in-Review: What PoliMonitor Achieved in 2022

For PoliMonitor, 2022 has been the year of momentum. Usage is up considerably, the team is larger and more talented than ever, and we were chosen to sponsor the most important public affairs event of the year.

User Growth

We are on track to exceed our aim of doubling our number of clients this year. More and more, organisations are turning to PoliMonitor to replace their previous monitoring services. The appeal of a service that makes monitoring effortless, listens to clients, and delivers reliably is evident.

The PoliMonitor Team

Our team grew in 2022. Our new Head of Growth, Alex Rowlands, has made an enormous difference by overhauling our internal CRM processes and bringing great experience to the team. Our new Developer, Alex Catlow, has contributed knowledge as well as exciting new features, including streamlined Twitter searching. Our Partnerships Officer, Khalil Talib, joined in January, and has undertaken excellent outreach, helped represent PoliMonitor at the Labour Party Conference, and took part in judging and presenting PRCA awards.

Growth of the PoliMonitor System

The PoliMonitor system grew and changed in 2022. Some of the highlights include a new CRM tool and the new PoliMonitor Daily Briefing, and you can read more about what we built this year here

Events

We threw ourselves into events this year, most notably the PRCA-PoliMonitor Public Affairs Awards 2022, as well as the PRCA UK Awards and PRCA DARE Awards. As the headline sponsor at the most renowned public affairs event of the year, we took the opportunity to recognise impressive achievements as well as to meet with both familiar and new faces.

In addition to awards events, our CEO, Sam Cunningham, discussed the future of public affairs at an event organised by the CIPR. You are sure to see more interesting talks from PoliMonitor in 2023!

In Conclusion

At the time of writing, our clients have created  6000+ Twitter alerts, 3900+ Publication alerts, and 2000+ Parliament Live alerts. That’s a huge amount of information zipping around, yet all of it is streamlined and catered to individual users. In 2023, we aim to make the system even better.

A new approach to political monitoring has been long awaited. If you haven’t yet seen what we can do, get in touch for a chat about how we can reinvigorate your political monitoring strategy.

See you all in 2023!
